Terms and Conditions for Driver Training & Related Services
These Terms and Conditions apply to services provided by Sirens Driving Academy Ltd
and Sirens Driver Training Ltd, including HGV training courses and other driver-training
services.
By booking a course or service with us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and the
terms of the Service Agreement provided to you.

1. General Terms
1.1
These Terms and Conditions apply to all business undertaken by Sirens Driving Academy
Ltd and Sirens Driver Training Ltd, including HGV training courses and other services
offered by the company.
The company is registered in England and Wales.

By purchasing our services, you agree to receive those services in accordance with these
Terms and Conditions.
A Service Agreement will be provided to customers who purchase a service from Sirens
Driving Academy Ltd and Sirens Driver Training Ltd.
1.3
All quotations are valid for 28 days, unless otherwise stated.
2. Cancelling a Course
Course Booking & Cancellation Terms
2.1 Course Validity
Your booking with us is valid for 12 months from the date of payment.
Any course elements that have not been completed by the first anniversary of your payment
will be void and our obligations to you will expire.
We recommend that you proactively book your course elements as soon as possible,
following the Process Guide supplied when you make your booking.
Our booking system is live and we cannot guarantee specific availability for individual course
elements. To avoid disappointment, we recommend booking practical training by the sixth
month to ensure that your course can be completed within the 12-month period.
If you are concerned about your progress or completion date, please contact us so that we
can help you plan your remaining training.
We reserve the right to offer training at locations further from your home address or at
alternative times where reasonably necessary to help you complete your course within the
applicable period.
2.2 What Is Included
Invoices and quotations may include the use of:
Training will be delivered using the standard training methods of Sirens Driving Academy Ltd
and Sirens Driver Training Ltd.
2.3 Deposit & Payment
A minimum 50% deposit is required within 48 hours of receiving the invoice to secure
your booking.
If the required deposit is not received, training may be cancelled.
The deposit is non-refundable except where applicable under the 14-day cooling-off
period.
Any remaining balance must be paid no later than 28 days before the start of your
practical course.
If your course is booked within 28 days of the start date, full payment is required
immediately.
2.4 14-Day Cancellation Period
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges)
Regulations 2013, customers have the right to cancel within 14 days of making a payment
for a course, subject to the applicable provisions.
2.5 Starting Services During the Cancellation Period
If you request that services begin immediately and complete the relevant Service
Agreement, you will be liable for the cost of services already provided if you subsequently
cancel.
2.6 Theory Test Revision Service
Where your starter pack includes an online Theory Test revision subscription, £200 will be
retained if you have requested activation of the theory test service.
If you have not requested activation of the login/service, this amount will not be charged.
2.7 Starter Pack & Deposit
If you have agreed to the £200 starter pack and deposit, the remaining balance becomes
due within 24 hours of passing your theory/hazard perception test, in accordance with
the agreement accepted at the time of booking.
The balance remains payable regardless of the result of your theory test.
2.8 Refund Terms
The refund amount depends on the time elapsed since payment and whether services have
started:
2.9 Cancellation of a Booked Training Course
If you cancel a booked training course where training dates have already been confirmed in
writing, and the cancellation is made less than four weeks before the first day of the
course and outside the 14-day cancellation period, the full course fee will be charged.
This is because places may not be able to be refilled and non-cancellable costs may already
have been incurred with suppliers.
At the discretion of Sirens Driving Academy Ltd, it may be possible to:
● Substitute another person; or
● Defer the course to another date.
Any remaining services that have not yet been booked will be dealt with separately.
